    This is my first time back to Factorio in something like 5 years. Last time I played, there was no artillery or nuclear power, boilers were 1x1s and the perfect ratio of pump:boiler:steam engine was something like 1:14:10 or whatever, and you had do slaughter biters for their delicious souls- I mean, purple science...

    I only played for ~80 hours back then, never launched a rocket, never used circuit networks, never used trains. I didn't know anything about balancers (I still don't, but I used to not, too.) I started playing about a week and a half ago and now I'm at 150 hours total.

    I'm about to research purple and yellow science. Literally have no clue what their crafting recipes are, so that'll be fun to figure out how to get those going.

    So here's my newest base. Enjoy!

    EDIT: Here's my map. I really want regularly spaced radar stations to get even coverage in a grid. When I get a better grasp of rails I want to have two way rails with roundabouts at the radar stations. I need to figure out how to get a train to pick a station to go to the first available pick up station. I'm not wanting help with that right now, I want to try and figure it out! Like, if I have several iron ore stations, I want a train to see which station is available, no trains currently there or en route, and go to the first available one.

    its..something that's been bugging me for a while-probably a little more then it should be, actually-

    the handheld flamer/turrets were changed over literal years ago, and its quite surprising the one mounted on the vanilla tank never was......

    Why are my signals blinking? I've used chain signals for entrances, normal signals for exists, and that seemed to work find for every other spot except this little ore loop off to the side? The "normal signal" didn't have the "yellow arrows" when placing which I assume is related?

    i just finished building about 60 centrifuges doing kovarex enrichment at 24 seconds, was just wondering how many reactors this can supply, tried doing the math myself, i didnt really believe the numbers I got, so here I am.

    Hello,

    I'm new to the game, so I don't know a lot. I mean I know the basics. But I'm a perfectionist and it's hard to build something in the perfect shape. So I saw that people on yt have some kind of a "road". Tbh i'm looking for some tips and tricks (I looked on yt but the bases are advanced and I wanted to see something from the start how to build the base and so on)

    And what "mods" should I add?

    Maybe someone would play with me?

    First time posting in this community, I've come to love this game for the couple weeks that I have been playing.

    I got frustrated at how tough bug bases could be whenever behemoths started spawning, I found a great solution to the problem, enjoy!

    Just manually control one Spidertron, and then tie another to a remote.

    I didn't load any rockets because I wanted the auto-laser fun where I didn't have to worry about ammo or anything.

    Spidertron loadout

    1 portable fusion reactor

    2 exoskeletons to outrun bugs

    2 MK2 batteries for juice

    6 personal defense lasers for disco lights

    Just click like crazy with remote of your fellow spidertron friend to mirk any bug base

    Upgrade energy weapon spd/dmg as much as you can too.

    Ensure you have a personal roboport with bots and plenty of repair packs, but turn it off before you go into a bug base so your bots don't get killed.

    Enable it after the fight to fully repair your two disco balls of fun, then make sure to turn it off before you obliterate the next base.

    First blueprint after ~50h

    The first blueprint i made in the game and it's for uranium 235 production. Took me 4 hours to figure how to do it properly. Proud of myself event if it's probably not the more efficient way to do this (game is amazing, make player feel great when succeding at doing something =) ) .

    It ain't much, but it's honest work.

    Deathworld + enemy Mods

    I like to play factorio with a 'little' added danger.

    At the moment i'm running clockwork,nightfall, bobs enemies, rampant (AI), natural evolution, resource spawn overhauler and a couple mods that helps with quality of life and defences.

    However finding a balance (in settings) between these mods and keeping it dangerous throughout the game is pretty hard. Anyone here that has an equal play style and wants to share their mods/settings ?
