    It's been a wild and wacky 24 hours in our normally peaceful community. It's clear that there is a huge desire for discussion and debate over recent happenings in the FFF-366 post.

    We've decided to allow everyone a chance to air their thoughts, feelings and civil discussions here in this megathread.

    And with that I'd like to thank everyone who has been following the rules, especially to be kind during this difficult time, as it makes our jobs as moderators easier and less challenging.

    Left the game running overnight. Came back with a destroyed space station and delivery cannon chest.

    Turned out my storage overloaded due to one missing copper wire in the receiving radar on the ground.

    So I know the devs love to push out updates for new features shortly after they are suggested, or fix bugs within half an hour of them appearing, so I'm curious if they will go with two of my main suggestions!

    I have loved the game for a very long time btw, and have several thousand hours in it so this is in no way a criticism.

    1. I have had to move pcs once or two, and a friend works both from home and from elsewhere sometimes. We both love being able to sync saves over steam, but would very much love to be able to sync our blueprints (between new installs, not between each other)! Its always painful having to rebuild your library from scratch. Whoops! Already added hah. I missed that one!
    2. This is only something I thought of recently, but when looking at a blueprint you have all the components listed on the left. What would be amazing is if they changed colour based on it you have those components available in your logistics network or your inventory. Say, green for inventory, and blue for network.

    Just two little QOL suggestions from a long time fan, after all they did implement my cliffs idea!

    Some general advice

    I started this game a few days ago and I am learning a lot and its fun. Every time a hit a bottle neck I am trying to learn that concept on my own and experimenting in god-mode as its taking forever in normal.

    heads up I am playing it the easy way. The biters were always killing me so I just set to peaceful mode.

    My issues I guess

    • I find it hard to manage the power poles of all things I just drop them whenever and wherever.
    • Its really confusing but I am learning the recipes and not sure if I am supposed to pocket craft.
    • I think I am done with the red science, not sure what to do next. Its hard to manage the belts and everything.

    Trying to iterate a set of signals

    I have a wire that has a set of 3 unknown signals. I want just the first of these three signals to continue to the next combinator. I do not care which signal is "first", just that only one of the signals gets through. Anyone have a solution to this?

    I'm trying to fix a very specific issue. There's no dedicated in-game way to limit power throughput, aside from the accumulator trick, which isn't working in the way I'm looking for.

    My goal here is to create a second power switch that has a power limit. I'll just set a hard limit in code now, and then once it works go back and make a mod setting or a gui element to change the value in game.

    UPS question

    My beaconed green circuit build has an input of almost 30 iron and copper /second (and an output of 45 greens /second). Is there any benefit to using red belts for the inputs instead of blue belts UPS-wise?

    What mods would you use to add more complexity to base Factorio?

    I tried Pyanodon full mod set and found it became too complex, especially with all the waste products created at each step. I did automate the first two science levels, but then just walked away. I saw a similar post but it is now a year out of date and some mods mentioned may be out of date or unsupported.

    What would you recommend today?

    Space Ex+ K2 Rocket Issue

    So, I think this is something game coded thing. I have a mining base on other planet for mining 3 different material, crushing them and send them home with 3 different cargo rockets. I made a landing pad for each of them at home separately. I made a wiring checklist for rocket launch. 1. I read the content of the landing pad on nauvis, if it goes under 1k, output green signal. 2. If cargo rocket F signal is 500 (cargo full) output green signal. 3. If 2 green signals are there, output 1 green signal.(this goe into the rocket silo) THe wiring is good, because I see the signals turning on and off. In the rocket silo, I made a launch trigger with green signal, and fuel full. Capsule is there, rocket parts are there all 100, fuel full, cargo full, green signal is there. BUT the rocket wont launch because on the landing pad I got several stacks left of the desired material. Rocket silo also telling me, that hes waiting for landing pad to be emptied. SO my question is, is there a way to leave the landing pad with some item in it, and still lauck a rocket onto it, or i automatic mode, this will never happen? Also I dont want to dump everything into an another chest, leaving the landing pad empty.

    Bob/Angel question with crushed stone

    My factory keeps running out of crushed stone, which I used to make mineral slag for ore catalyst and mineral water for algae, is there any other way to make crushed stone other than crushing ore cuz that doesn't seem to be enough. I'm currently playing full bob/angel/madclown suite with Angel industries overhaul enabled and didn't unlock blue science yet.

    Factorio crashes at 100%
