    TIL that the menu background screen is modified by mods.

    The background screen on the menus are modified by mods. I had suspected this some time ago as I have the compiletron mods. I was showing the game to a guy last night and had noticed that the bugs had green blood pooling around them from the gore mod that I had recently downloaded. Anyone else see other mods that modify the background screen?

    Quick tip that helped me: you can paste a color scheme from a train to a train station and vice versa

    I'm playing krastorio so possible this is only a feature in that mod, but I hope not. I am color coordinating my trains and stations, e.g. trains and stations for iron & any pure iron products get 150/150/150. It's annoying to program the colors, but if you paste from, say, a drop off station to a loading station, you'll override the settings of the station. Buy it turns out if I copy a train, and paste that onto the station, it updates the colors without overriding the settings. Not the most convenient (I'd like to be able to set a global color scheme) but better than doing it by hand every time!

    Sorry if this was obvious or well-known, I just learned it today.

    I think it would be easier and faster to be able to automatically enable the filter function in both pages the moment you type the filter you want. i.e. pressing "p" and then typing "science" to automatically filter science in those pages.

    In Krastorio 2, the glowy parts of the tech cards show through underground belts, but only at night. Possibly a bug of some sort? (also those rails are not my fault)

    Hey, so looking to start a new world. I've played a couple of times, mainly on Railworld settings reaching 1kspm - but looking for a new challenge. I've always like the no respawning aspect of railworld to avoid having to police tons of landscape, but it makes the end game a little easy.

    Is there any way to adjust the settings to get a compromise? i.e. no expansion but more aggressive biters or with expansion, but lower the frequency - i.e. so if it does respawn its a real challenge in one area rather than spending the whole time hunting random nests.

    Are achievement requirements different for the Steam version and the regular version?

    I heard that even if the game indicates you are eligible for No Spoon (or any achievement, I guess) Steam won't register it. If this is true, Steam is more strict than the game itself.

    Natrum's guide provides what you can do and still have the achievement register in-game and on Steam.

    Or have I completely misunderstood something?

    Which concept in factorio would you like to have different.

    It is not about modding. An example: you can supply a huge base with a single power line which i would expect that the connection would break in case of overload. May be there is a mod for it but what about diagonal belts etc?

    As a long term age of empires player and not a RPG fan, i think that the character can pick his car out of his pocket is fun but something i would like to have different.

    Any other your personal points?

    Space exploration: a game full off surprises.

    1 after you first rocket the game is just getting started....

    1. After many planets, stars and astroidbelt you need to go to astroids fields....

    2. After many tries you succeed in flying fast enough in a big enough ship between different solar systems.......

    3. So you get the victory screen after 412 hours of gameplay........

    4. Then you (a friend you play with) finds an anomaly as possible destination.

    5. When putting together the anomaly you need to feed it 20GW in space ....

    6. New tech is unlocked......

    8.. And you find a planet with ruins of a base (not ours) and you not sure if it just appeared or it was always there.....

    Wondering how many hours it will take to actually actually actually finished the game.

    Fluid help

    I need help with fluids. I've never hit the pipe throughout before, and need some numbers.

    I'm using fully new ones oil refineries. How many can pump into the same pipes before the bottleneck is the actual pipes?

    I'm trying to design an oil processing outpost for all of my crude oil to go to and need some guidance.

    Is there a way to have inserters alternate grabs from a chest?

    I'm using a chest in a cycling belt to reduce clutter of sulfur and adv. circuits, but the inserter moving items back out of the chest only grabs from the rightmost stack in the chest. Is there a way to use combinators to have it alternate between one grab circuit, one grab sulfur? (please describe plainly, i'm kind of new to combinator use)

    Need mod advice

    Im looking for a mod that will either add, tweak or replace materials and recipes, but not in a significant way, so dont add 50 steps between start and finish.

    I went for other people's blueprints and mods as soon as I got stuck and i want to experience the joy of discovery now that I know how the game works.
