Train not leaving the station with filled condition

I have a train transporting solid fuel. I want it to leave the loading station once it has 2k of solid fuel. I set it up correctly, I think. The condition turns green once it has 2k, but the train doesnt leave the station. I don't understand what I did wrong. Help pls?

    Favourite/disliked Moment of Game

    Posted: 27 Oct 2020 02:05 AM PDT

What is your favourite moment, phase in the game? When do you enjoy game the most, and when the least? I have 62h in game (officialy, unofficaly probably like 100h or more), and I dont really like the beggining of the game, when you need to plan everything, make fundaments for future things, research basic things, maybe becouse of that, that I spend most time in this phase, and I'm don't spend much time in mid game, and I even dont get to late game (like idk, reactor/uranium power?). What about you?

    TIL assemblers are actually squares

    Posted: 26 Oct 2020 07:33 PM PDT

Somehow they always looked like rectangles to me. I had a moment when I realized they are actually 3x3. It just never clicked because the angle everything is rendered at makes them look taller than they are wide. I went through my entire first playthrough like this!

New guy. Bought the game on Saturday

    Posted: 26 Oct 2020 11:11 AM PDT

Am 10 hours deep. No idea what I'm doing but it's fun. Died trying to fight a biter nest with a pistol. Thousands of iron and copper plates and no idea what to do with it. Bought an off shore pump and don't know how to connect it to the steam engine. Takes me 10 minutes to refuel my miners every 10 minutes. Lost and totally confused with no idea where to start learning.

10/10 would recommend can't wait to die to biters again when I get home from work

We should have a vanilla waterfill

    Posted: 27 Oct 2020 06:54 AM PDT

With the restriction that it could only be used within X tiles of an original coastline, that way you could reshape coastal areas and you could even connect bodies of water that are separated by only a couple tiles, but you couldn't make a lake out of nothing or use it to supplement defense against biters.

Honestly we should just be able to use the cliff explosive to do it.

An early game way to smelt electrically?

    Posted: 27 Oct 2020 05:32 AM PDT

So I'm pretty new to factorio and I love it, although I tried looking and the only way to smelt stuff electronically is the electric smelter, which is far out of my reach currently, is there a way of smelting things that doesn't require me to setup an entire coal empire and lag my computer?

    Question about oil refinery production

    Posted: 26 Oct 2020 07:30 PM PDT

I have an oil-refinery with water and crude-oil as inputs, and this creates outputs of petrol, light-oil and heavy-oil. So I made storage tanks for the outputs and filled them all up, then I used up the heavy-oil but then noticed the oil-refinery isn't making any more heavy-oil (it says fluid-production overload) apparently because the storage tanks for the other outputs are full. Is this right? Will it only make what you want as long as it has enough storage space for all 3 of its outputs?

I finally did it. I blew up a 2.4 GW reactor with rockets. I was trying to quickly scrounge together some fuel because an iron belt feeding uranium cells had been accidentally broken and I wasn't buffering anything.
