    Forewarning: While I do explain why I started playing this is also a post to get something off my chest.

    I originally pirated a version of it. A few years later I finally bought it and all the other games I had pirated (Factorio, Slime Rancher, and Space Engineers). Don't be like me, Don't pirate games. Now the reason I play and enjoy factorio I think is it's ability to make you feel like a genius even if you're doing the simplest of things.
