Factorio on Macbook Pro with GPU Radeon Pro 5300M or 5500M? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 01:11 AM PST It's time to replace my old Macbook. Of course, it MUST be Factorio compatible. Has anyone run Factorio on a mac with an AMD Radeon Pro 5300M or 5500M? (which is in the 16" MacBook Pro models currently available) I'm a little concerned, because Factorio requirements on FAQ page lists DirectX 10 and DirectX 11, but not DirectX 12. The 5300M & 5500M have DirectX 12. My (limited) knowledge of DirectX is that it's not backwards or forwards compatible. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 Feb 2020 05:33 AM PST So I just created another save of my main game to use cheats on so I could reveal the map with lua commands. After I went to load my main save back but accidentally saved it over my main save, because you know I'm smart like that. All my auto saves are of my cheat world so is there any other way to get my other save back or enable achievements again on the save I still have? [link] [comments]

Controlling a set of stations with circuits Posted: 12 Feb 2020 11:49 PM PST So, I have a plastic making outpost that has 4 stations (all named the same) to allow 4 trains to come in and pick up plastic. One thing noticed is that the trains all use the same station, therefore, slowing down the process as the previous train took most of the goods. I looked in using circuits to control when a station is open/closed. I managed to hook up 2 of the stations to a decider combinator to read the number of goods waiting in the station, compare the 2 input values and output a 1 or a 2. One station will open in the event of a 1 signal and the other in the event of a 2. I did the same for the second pair of stations and now I can have 2 trains picking 1 of 2 stations depending on which is more full. But now I want for trains but I don't want them picking between just 2 pairs. I want a train coming in to pick the highest item unoccupied station. Am I able to do this? If so, how? or is there a better way? I'm aware of the penalty system but I don't think that's going to help in this case (unless I'm approaching it wrong?) [link] [comments]
