- It took me a really loooooong time but I finally managed to build 120 furnaces producing iron plates, I hope I'll be fine for a long time now. It's my first game so most of my factories are pretty disorganized but I'm really happy with this one.

Bug or uninteded side effect of wire connections being saved in blueprints? Posted: 08 Jan 2021 11:10 PM PST I play two games side by side (both 1.1.x), one with Krastorio 2 and a multiplayer that is mostly vanilla. Now Krastorio 2 increases the connection range of power poles, and I have a blueprint book I use in that game that has blueprints that use that increased range. Of course, if I place any of those blueprints in the vanilla game, there won't be any connection between the power poles any more, because the distance is to large. However only just using those blueprints in the vanilla game has apparently disabled those power connections in the blueprint itself, so those don't work in my Krastorio 2 game any more either. I only placed a few of those blueprints in my vanilla game as a starting point for creating new blueprints for that game, I definitely never upgraded my K2 blueprints. However they still all converted to unusable. Anyone else got this? Is there a way to "reset" power pole connections in a blueprint without having to place, build, fix the connections and recreating every single one of those blueprints? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 08 Jan 2021 07:58 AM PST So I was in the midst of posting a question on here asking if there was a better way to plop down a mining outpost. I felt like plopping down the rail station and tileable miners was easy enough, but then it would take me forever to route all the belts to the balancer and then to the train station. So I figured I'd do a quick search first and found https://autotorio.com/ and it was perfect! Just what I was looking for. I've even used it for non mining locations when I want to set up a train station of a certain orientation or loading style and need a bit more help routing belts (or setting up my new 2-8 trains to The Smeltatorium) Great stuff! I'm still vanilla, but I can see where a mod that just does this would be helpful if I'm just going to copy/paste in and out of the game anyhow. We'll see.... [link] [comments] |
