Posted: 08 Nov 2020 08:40 PM PST I have played a handful of worlds and gotten most of them close to the rocket launch but put off actually doing it, only to take a break and start over the next time. This time, I finally did it, got my rocket launches automated, build Spidertron, got a couple levels deep into the infinite research trees, continued upgrading for a while, and I can see how this could be done basically unto eternity, but I'm starting to peter out a little bit. I have some multiplayer worlds I am playing with friends too and I am just trying to avoid burnout. Should I just start a new world from scratch? New worldgen settings? Bob's/Angel's? I'm curious what the Factorio community thinks is the best next thing to try [link] [comments] | ||

Is there a way to remove items from belts in the editor? Efficient tree/cliff/rock removal Posted: 08 Nov 2020 11:36 PM PST When I prepare a peice of land for building on it, I use a roboport connected to my main logistic network and use the deconstruct function to transport the deconstructed trees (in the from of wood) to buffer chests, and have the cliff explosives come from my main base. My question is, is there a way to use the deconstruct feature which only selects specific object types, to make it possible to select a large area of trees to deconstruct, but make it ignore everything else?
