Then you get to the bus design, trying to streamline. Then eventually you get to these large scale railway square blocks. And it shows you got the "original" spagetti is more efficient at it's size, but never scalable. And I've always found it to be a great metaphor for programming languages and chip designs. I am really bad about this; like I hate long belts in my factories, and I always want to put like smelters as close as possible to the miners, and so on, with the misconception that somehow the belt in between is slowing things down... Most Over-the-top wall defence. Posted: 23 Nov 2020 04:22 AM PST First off I am posting this from my phone so no cool pictures sadly. Oh and spelling errors galore. The title basically sums it up. I am looking for a very very over the top extra looking wall defence, what I mean is Im looking for a design / blueprint for a pretty insane wall to use as defence against everything, I'm talking all turrets, mines, self repairing wall, dangerous looking concrete floor and if anyone has the will I'd absolutely love some warning lights hooked up with logistics and such, My logistic knowledge isn't good enough to make it myself. Of course I could just make a row of each turret and a lot of mines and walls in a straight line but I also want it to LOOK intimidating and have at least a bit of design to it. I want to see what you guys have in your bases for inspiration or if someone is bored or kind enough to possibly design one and make a blueprint that would be just lovely. Got smoked by a train and now there is apparently a big ol biter nest right on my spawn point and I die instantly. Is the only option to go back to an autosave? [link] [comments] | ||

Circuit network help on centralized smelter stations Posted: 23 Nov 2020 07:55 AM PST So I have built a centralized smelters with 3 ore input train stops. I tried to name them the same name, but trains kept run into the same stop. So I try using the circuit network to enable the train stop when it has lower than "quantity" of ore. Problem starts here, when 3 the train stops are disabled, the ore train will just wait AT the mining outpost, occupying the loading station. When the ore train arrives, the input train stop has already depleted for a few seconds. I wanted to do this because in concept it is very convenient in long run for expansion and I believe a lot of veterans have already done that, but I couldn't find any solution from google. Posted: 23 Nov 2020 01:33 AM PST I find it very annoying that I can't place blueprints or other ghosts on landfill ghosts, I have to wait for my bots to landfill the area first before I can place my blueprint. I feel like this should be possible in vanilla but I can't seem to find any way to make it work and I can't find any mods that allow me to do it either. Am I just missing a key or is it not possible at all? If so does anyone have a mod that makes it possible? [link] [comments] | ||
