    About 5 hrs after my first rocket launch just starting to experiment with automating as much as I can. Still learning the logistics networks and the ins-and-outs of circuits

    The electrical grid and train map

    So satisfying watching the ore trains unload

    This was a quick game also - biters make you move pretty quick. Without biters, I can easily not even launch and start over at the 65 hour mark. Kind of weird I beat it this quick.

    Also a quick game too, I am usually in the mid-60 hour bases without biters. They make you move.

    My WIP mega factory

    This base is completely vanilla, only mods I used are quality-of-life mods (wire thickness, bottleneck...), asphalt, santa's nixie tubes and display panels.

    Current base, fully solar, just started building nuclear

    2nd main hub, until I finish the new and improved mall. Then I'll be able to fill builder trains at a faster rate, allowing automatic expansion

    Especially proud of this one, a fully configurable, single item precise loading of train, no need for locked stack positions in wagons

    Plan is to automate supply of a few different station types. Most importantly military for border defense stations.

    Train system status board, basically for every imported/exported resource/type of train, amounts are split into full trains. left number of train requests, right number is available full trains at sources, middle number is the number of currently available trains of that resource. Eg. I am currently using some iron-ore, with 3 trains being requested, 13 total available, with 10 left over

    Anyway, after finishing the new mall and transfer builder loading, building a nuclear reactor and a couple of more resource modules (smelter arrays, circuits...) I should be able to produce ~800 science per minute.

    How can I use laser turrets without my factory dying while its used

    So my factory needs about 15-20 Mw to work But when the laser turrets fire, the number jumps to 80Mw

    How can I supply this much power?

    Problem with production of heavy oil

    I want to produce heavy oil, and then convert it into lubricant, and use it to craft items in my mall (blue belts, blue undergrounds...). The only way I have unlocked and found to produce heavy oil is using the advanced oil processing recipe in an oil raffinery. But this recipe also produces petroleum gas and light oil, which I don't need for my mall (yet anyways). So these two fluids don't have an ouput on my raffinery, causing a fluid overload, and stoping the production of heavy oil. I thought about placing storage tanks but these will eventually get full and I'll have the same problem again.

    Is there an easy way to fix this issue?

    Got inspired today by a post about sushi belts and made my first one. It took me a long time to balance but it works now. Just wanted to share. It's modded with bob's and QoL mods like the merging chest at the stations.
