I thought this game looked too simple and not fun Posted: 26 Sep 2020 03:55 AM PDT This has been one of the most fun games I've played in a long time. I got it about 4 days ago and have spent over 55 hours now building my first base. If the devs are on this subreddit at all, I just want to say well done this has been easily the most fun I've had since I was a kid playing Anno 1503. To the community I can't wait to join it and I just wish I could have joined it sooner. [link] [comments]

What´s next? I´d like to hear what`s on your mind for what you think could be coming next! Posted: 26 Sep 2020 04:10 AM PDT I´ve been playing factorio for a bit now and i´m always so excited for new things! Do any of you know if the devs look at this subreddit? I think there are some really crazy cool ideas and designs that have come to life over the time. So here is what i think could come next, or at least what i wish for: Player Related: Alien (I actually don´t know what the enemies are called, except biters, spitters, worms...) Related: "Any" Related: Seriously i could write for hours and not stop, but that is not the point... I love factorio... What are your thoughts, wishes, expectations? Already excited to hear your opinion! [link] [comments]

The cliff explosive effect looks terrible; suggestion to add obscuring smoke/rubble Posted: 26 Sep 2020 01:26 AM PDT The visual illusion of height the cliffs provide is executed quite well, but when you use cliff explosives, they just pop out of existence with a pitiful little score mark on the ground, completely destroying the illusion and looking very bad. It would be nice to, for instance, obscure the removing of the cliffs with an explosion/smoke effect, then add rubble and a rocky terrain under the area the explosives blew up. Obviously this is a minor point, but this game is so excellent that even little things like this stand out. I wouldn't be surprised if something like this were in the works. [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Sep 2020 10:56 PM PDT So the intergallactic transiever is charged and i'm finally off this filthy planet. Where to is the question :) Seablock perhaps, ir reddit has something better to offer? I dont like to pursue high SPM's and prefer to go for a single distant goal that ends the game. First rocket launch or intergallactic transiever or whatever. What mod would you suggest? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Sep 2020 04:49 AM PDT Wanted to share a spreadsheet I made. It summarizes data from the kirkmcdonalds calculator for preparation of building materials. It lists buildings, modules, beacons and power. Configure your build in the calculator, export the csv and paste it into the yellow cells, with text to columns. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZmvNv3Y_NQ2lZ1mJUSwqO9vDXHtpGLv6ctklwl1Mqh0/edit?usp=sharing Comments and suggestions welcome :) [link] [comments]
