    Had too much free time that I'd spent hours randomly making solar arrays that I decided to share the world for it, to be part of the productive society :3 (this is my 1st post btw)

    Variety kinds of solar designs built in 12x12 arrays. (Map View for symmetry test)

    The arrays follow a 24:20 panels-accumulators ratio inside a substation, combining them into a single array. Despite their different designs, all of them follow the same ratio and generate the same amount of electricity. The picture above shows each solar arrays, generating approximately 145 MW in average.

    1x1 Solar arrays (The basic building blocks; 24:20 panels-accumulators ratio)

    Each arrays occupies 18x18 of tiles. (exact range of a substation) They produce a megawatt in average so they were easily expandable by plopping them between each other (just like Lego!) for more power.

    2x2 Solar arrays (Pattern build)

    These are the 2x2 arrays I've built by combining the 1x1 arrays into a bigger array in a decorative way. :P Instead of stacking each other, these varieties add the flavor of your solar farm. Although there are other better solar blueprints available around the internet with the addition of roboports and railway, this build only aims for small, decorative, and near-optimal solar array as possible that is completely modular.

    Aside from lacking of roboports, it have too many empty holes between panels and accumulators, definitely not optimized in terms of spacing.

    The blueprints for 1x1 and 2x2 solar arrays are available within a book. The book also includes land-fill blueprints for those trying to expand through large bodies of water.

    More options for the graphs

    Please could you add a stacked graph option so I could see the total pollution I'm producing and electricity I'm producing and I would also like to have an option where I you can make the scales on the y axis the same for both consumption and production so I can easily see what I need to product more of if there is a deficit of a product. Thanks!

    New game: Why is it possible to disable resources?

    When you start a new game, there is a checkbox next to each resource which allows you to completely disable that resource on the generated map. You can start a new game with no resources at all, and the game allows it without warning. I mean, if the target is to launch a rocket, then the only resource you can do without is uranium.

    So why are those checkboxes there?

    Is anyone playing with the Space Exploration Mod?

    I'm building a megabase with the space exploration mod and Factorio Extended Plus, and I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could get a blueprint for beaconed heat-shielding and/or electric furnaces. I've looked in several places, and I've been using Nilaus' train-based point-to-point megabase blueprints to build it. Was just curious if anyone else has attempted a megabase with Space Exploration.

    Help me find my lost train stop

    I need to find a train stop in my factory but I'm having trouble. I don't know where it is since I got like 500-1000 train stops in total spread out so it's like finding a needle in a hay stack.

    I know you can add a train stop to a train's schedule and click on it to find it on the map. The problem is that I got 14 train stops with the exact same name but clicking it in the schedule only ever locates one and the same train stop.

    I can't send a train to this stop in particular because it's disabled.

    Anyone got any ideas? Can I cycle through all stations with the same name somehow?

    My first 50 hours of playing Factorio

    1st run: Power steam engine seems handy I should try to make one relatively quickly as it might be handy if I run out of coal.

    2nd run: Oh maybe I should automate some aspects of the production line, that could be cool.

    3rd run: OK let's go crazy and add a 2nd steam engine. I might need more power for electric converters.

    4th run: 10 hours spent automating every last aspect of the production of the very most basic resources. 6 steam engines and not enough power.

    The learning curve on this game is insane and I'm loving it. I still don't know what I'm doing past this point and I fully expect to restart many more times.
