- The Factorio Olympics! Signups Are Open!
- When you realize the Spaceship actually is a huge 16x9 container
- 10 out of 10
- Top 10 near-death experiences
- Accidentally crashlanded on a poor fish :(
- Factorio is the second highest rated game on steam since 1.0 was released.
- We are letting the dev team down
- The old trailer links back to... itself?
- Using the space ships hold as a resource hub in the early game. Later you can belt resources directly into it, but that takes Circuit Network to do in a controlled manner, and that's green science.
- First Time actually automating something
- That's the right attitude, keep it up guys! I can't count the number of gaming communities which are often hostile to newcomers.
- The Space Ship as a Resource Hub. An early game experiment.
- Weakling Spidertron calling for reinforcements
- Thank you
- First day in and I'm loving this game. Any tips? I'd like to reorganize some things to have a better "flow" the next time I have a lot of downtime.
- Spidertron factory
- It is interesting that the railgun and the darts are available in the map editor, but why aren't they buildable in freeplay?
- New Player playing around. Is this setup ok for coal, copper, and iron?
- So many factories growing in the same time!
- On the 1.0 release day Factorio uploaded the 2020 version of trailer. I decided to play three versions of the trailer at once to see the differences in graphics.
- Fish are now renewable! 1 space science launched per fish up to one stack of fish (100)
- Any one else feel like they kinda ruined the game for themselves by watching guides/tutorials?
- Aceri Retro - Font blueprints for factorio
- How far in advance do I need to plan as a beginner?

We are letting the dev team down Posted: 15 Aug 2020 10:06 PM PDT It has been days and we are still in 1.0.0. Usually we find some minor annoyance bug and then the devs fix it in an hour and have a new release. But as far as I've seen, we've found nothing wrong so they can't show off how fast they can fix it. We need to get it together. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Aug 2020 01:28 AM PDT Hi guys, I just wanted to thank the devs for creating such a great game, and the people in this sub for being cool human beings. All the other game-related subreddits I visit are full of toxicity and people raging at how broken, imbalanced, greedy etc. the particular game is, but here everyone is just sharing cool stuff they made in the game and helping each other out have more fun. Cheers :) [link] [comments]

Any one else feel like they kinda ruined the game for themselves by watching guides/tutorials? Posted: 16 Aug 2020 04:30 AM PDT I really wanted my factories to be up-to-scratch with the youtubers/streamers I was seeing, who seemed like they were all in on some formula that I'd missed the memo on. Then I watched a few guides and learnt about the central 'bus', etc... eventually launched a rocket using these methods... but it's never quite been the same since, obviously. Wondering if any of you did this, but found a way to get past it and still enjoy the game? I can't go back to *not* using the methods I've seen and learnt, which has really taken the edge off the core creative challenge of the game... Now it's just a formula. I regret not taking my time with the learning process... Didn't occur to me that you could "spoil" Factorio :( [link] [comments]

How far in advance do I need to plan as a beginner? Posted: 16 Aug 2020 05:14 AM PDT I've been watching some Factorio videos and I see some absolutely massive and well made factories, but they also plan really fa run advance in order to get it looking like that. Since I don't know how the game works fully or understand how many of a certain thing I will need, do I need to plan this far ahead? Am I still able to find space if I do one thing at a time and don't plan for 10's of hours in the future? [link] [comments] |
