    Accidentally made cool looking oil processing rig

    I wanted to make an oil processing rig that fit well in my city block layout, and after an hour or 2 of tweaking, I wound up with this.

    It's designed to look good on the map with or without the electric network visible, as well as look good in general. I'm quite happy with how it turned out!

    The last image shows the test rig I made for it. I'm using the LTN mod, which is why one of the stations looks different than the other two (it's the depot). I'm using the Creative Mod to fill the provider stations.

    I did have to tweak the ratios a bit to make it work as multiples of 4 to maintain symmetry, but I managed to calculate it to a nearly perfect ratio by using various tiers of speed and productivity modules. The oil processing itself is at full productivity, which is what I wanted.

    I attached fluid voids (from Creative Mod) to the petrol output and enabled the Bottleneck mod to show that all parts of the rig run constantly with no bottleneck.

    The rig is designed to be a scalable build that can be built before you have automated module production (hence the lack of beacons).

    PS: Before anyone says something, yes, I know the rail system throughput isn't ideal. However, it works well enough, and the station setup allows for perfect symmetry because all of the stations have the same orientation (around the stacker loop and towards the main tracks in the center).

    Hello all!

    is there a way to change my factorio name? The one that will show up on ESC->Settings-->Other in the menu.

    Since the 0.18 Update I can see it even in singleplayer-tooltips and since the factorio name had to be exactly the SteamID, I am fucked, because I named myself very insultingly to my enemys mom back in counterstrike times.. (jeeez, am I that old?)

    Right click to remove item from blueprint

    I haven't played in about six months. I started a new game on the latest 18 but when I open a blueprint there is no option to remove items by right clicking. Has there been a change to this mechanic or am I possibly looking at a mod conflict?

    How to get a double ended train to work?

    I googled this, even found a topic on this sub saying they googled it, but it didn't give me the answers I was looking for.

    I have one rail, non-looping, and a double ended train on it. The problem is, I can't get it to go between the stations because it pops up with "no path."

    I tried setting up four stations (two on each side) to get around this but it doesn't seem to work.

    How do I fix that?

    Is there any way to measure, how many computing power single mods take during the game?

    I have lot of mods, and just recently I notice a "lag" spikes (meaning, that the game simply freezes for two seconds). And then goes on normally. I just wanted to chenck, which mods causes that kind of thing.

    I am making a large overhaul mod that will include inspiration from the greatest hits of other mods. One such portion includes the geode processing loop in Angel's mods. My loop is going to be very similar but with some hopefully interesting tweaks. Unfortunately, Angel's mods are covered by a fairly restrictive non-derivatives license. I am looking for artwork for 5-6 types of colorful geodes and colorful geode dust. The png's should come in 32, 64, and 128 px versions.
