Posted: 15 Dec 2019 04:01 AM PST Making a new factory away from base factory. It has coal but no water. I connected trains there (train-world setting). It would be cool to start it without bringing electricity poles from main base. The problem is that I am going for no-solar-power achievement. How to get the initial energy to fill boiler with water to start making electricity? I want to bring water by train but pump required to unload it needs electricity. I can bring water barrels but need assembly to drain them into pipes, and that requires electricity too. Imo easiest solution would be to either: 1) have new building barrel-drain, that (slowly) unloads barrel into a pipe: it has 1 pipe output, and has 1 slot, taking items. It is not unrealistic even in real life you just put a barrel and let the water drain. 2) or, have a building like burner-generator, that takes 1 slot of any fuel and directly generates electricity, but is very inefficient (e.g. x10 more fuel for same amount of energy) 3) or, simply allow player to directly "place barrel into a pipe" or into a storage tank, which results in draining the barrel. 4) or, allow storage tanks to have a slot, and anything placed in there will be drained I like 4 and 1 the most, as they need a bit of effort, but are still possible (should be red+green tire tech) [link] [comments] | ||

So i made this post since i need some advice in teems of biter mods . What would be the hardest biter mods out there also what would be a nice turret mod to go along with them ? i was thinking of rampart , some turret mods and maybe , and maybe with natural evolution ?
