    Part of me hopes this gets buried in new. Part of me hopes this helps someone else.

    I messed up. I was playing and my kid walked out the front door. Just walked out. This isn't a joke. I was playing and he walked out. My wife was helping the other kid go to sleep.

    I got outside and he was just gone. No where.

    Gone.

    I yelled his name. Over and over... finally after what seemed like forever my neighbor came out of her door.

    He had just went over there. I had to carry him home.

    Then I went back to factorio. I heard the door this time.

    I can't play this anymore. It's can be an addiction. It is an addiction. I know a lot of people here joke about cracktorio. It's really there and we have to be safe. This is no joke. I'm was... I am scared.

    My second game/base. All power is supplied by solar. Have 8 nuclear power reactors ready and im ready for expansion. Learned train signal basics in this game.

    I can't access the game and this pop up comes up, even if I press "disable mods" or the other options, it restarts and the same pop up comes up and does nothing

    What's wrong with this crossing? The train going from east to west always stops even if no other trains are near by.

    My friend and I have been playing on this wold for 30h and we finally did it!

    The discussion most of the time was

    "Dude we have no iron plates", "Well actually, we have ALL the iron places in the WORLD", "But it isnt enough ..."

    Just little things to keep us sane :)

    Its a lot of fun and we redid our base a few times because we didnt realize what really needed to go where. We still need to explore robots a bit more and cant wait to make our first nuclear bomb for sweet, sweet revenge on the biters :)

    Krastorio 2 Megabase Questions

    Hello engineers,

    For those of you who have made huge bases in Krastorio 2, I have a couple questions about the production and use of matter.

    1) I was thinking of using matter to produce wood since it doesn't look like you can beacon greenhouses and I currently have way too many city blocks allocated to making wood. Is this a good idea?

    2) Is coal the best thing to turn into matter? The only use for it in large quantities seems to be plastic. (Stone seems to be the other candidate if sand production from imersite grinding can't keep up, but I'm not sure on the ratios there yet).

    I am building trains with locomotives in both sides. But i see lots of people building them just with locomotive on one side. Why? Is it better?

    I use 2-8-2. Two locomotives pulls to one station and other two pull it back to first station station.

    Im just learning trains and need some advice and tips.

    So, my goal is to build a 2700spm base (megabase at this point, right?) and, obviously, i need to build everything required to produce the actual variety of science packs. For 2700 blue science/min you'll need 2700 engine units/min, my solution is this monstruosity right here.

    I tried to avoid using prod modules since my plan was make a factory consuming full belts of everything, so the inputs are 2 blue belts of pipes, 1 blue belt of gears and another one for steel.

    I'm sharing this here because... well, MY FIRST ONE!
