Factorio THE FACTORY GROWS |
- THE FACTORY GROWS
- I spent way too much time designing this so I'm showing it off: 8 to 6 inline balancer
- Reason 785 the factorio devs are amazing. If you save the game, then quit within 5 seconds, you aren't prompted to save before quitting.
- TIL you can move the main menu around
- The map view should display light entities as their current color rather than just default blue. That way we could make dynamic displays seen from the map view without using power switches.
- Train throughput test
- I've played this game the "correct" way before... but I just really love driving trains around and switching cars manually
- Organized Lab Setup
- Devs : Can we please get the ability to switch a station in a train schedule without removing the criteria?
- Power Emergency - Isolated Solar / Accumulator solution
- Cover art criticism but it's marginally more legible
- Spaghetti Basing! (Rocket launched, ratios aren't great but work, train-spaghetti didn't really work out...)
- How arriving on Nauvis feels
- Thank you Factorio Team
- Can anyone Explain this? (Trains not using all of the stacker)
- Placing Intermediate Items in Map Editor
- Spagett is best.
- Upgrading my Main Bus Smelting input.
- Circuit Network Suggestion
- Installed copper flooring...then realized that the Decon Planner doesn't have a setting to pickup plates
- Loving the game. Is there a tutorial that teaches specifics without building an entire factory?
- Can you guys help me with this Stacker signaling?

Posted: 16 Nov 2019 09:54 PM PST Title^ I have a city-block network. And far and away, the most common "Why can't I just do that?!" I have is when I want to copy paste a train, but change say which ore depot it drops off to. I want the conditions to all be the same, I just want it to go somewhere else. To do that, I have to add a station (I have over a thousand unique stations at this point, so just clicking a station name is a no-go). Copy the criteria manually, and if those are clever / long, that's a pain in the arse, and then delete the old one. Bonus suggestion: When naming stations, can the little popup have the same filtering like the search EVERYWHERE ELSE does? [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Nov 2019 08:26 AM PST Not only have you made a great game that is more polished than most AAA titles, you've done so in the most honest and genuine way as well. From the weekly updates to the constant support for the game, you people have made a game Ill probably cherish for the rest of my life, updates or not. I am not a creative writing major nor am here to embellish this thanks, I just felt that I should let you all know that you have made a game that is not only fun to play, but a community that reflects your values and that are thankful for all the hard work you have put into the game. Thank you. [link] [comments]

Placing Intermediate Items in Map Editor Posted: 17 Nov 2019 06:40 AM PST Coming back to the game after a hiatus and working in the map editor. There used to be the option to place intermediate items and other items such as modules, buildings, or even resources in the map (not installing them, just a dropped item). I figured out that I can use Z to drop items, but I can't find any intermediate items in the map editor. What am I missing? Thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Nov 2019 07:48 AM PST So something I've found recently is that in a heavily burdened circuit network, it can be hard to determine what a certain signal is to see why, for instance, and inserter is disabled. I think it would be worthwhile, if possible, to update the hover-info of all similar items (and especially the enable/disable ones) to show the value of the signal it cares about. It doesn't need to show all of them, but if I could see that, my Electronic Circuit signal is -30 and that's why the inserter is turned off at a glance rather than having to drop a couple of arithmetic combinators down temporarily, that would be a huge help. Loving the game. Is there a tutorial that teaches specifics without building an entire factory? Posted: 17 Nov 2019 02:36 AM PST Basically, a tutorial that just goes down the list saying steam engine does this, green cable does this, thing X does this, etc All the tutorials I've seen start making their own megafactory which is cool and all but I don't want to see them because I'll naturally try to copy them. Can you guys help me with this Stacker signaling? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 06:48 PM PST Hi, I've got quite a few hours sunk into this game already but, for some odd reason, I can't figure out why this stacker wont work properly. Why does the third lane is not considered on the rail signal? It's empty but the rail shows red... I bet it's something stupid, but I just can't see it, all my stackers use the same concept and work, except this one! [link] [comments] |
