    Sometimes you play on a server and later can't find it anymore because you forgot the name. It'd be nice to have a history of the servers you played on recently.

    Hello, u/FactorioTeam,

    just a small suggestion - I just noticed that the About the game text on the homepage of factorio.com hasn't been updated with your recent milestone of 2 million players. It still shows the old value of 1.5M.

    I get that 1.5M is already quite a lot, and the marketing importance may not be so big anymore as when you were in your first few hundred thousand. But still, 2M sales is a pretty impressive achievement, so I'd claim those bragging rights. :p

    Also, you might update it in this list on Wikipedia (hopefully your official announcement would be a good enough source), where it'd put you in the top 100 best-selling PC games ever. (Which you could then show to anyone claiming it's "just an indie game".)

    Not sure if / how much you're interested in this kind of self-promotion, but IMO you've earned it. :)

    - once I have found something that works I tend to blindly copy it to other areas and make slight adaptations (made 4 templates for 1/2/3/4 material imput automation, and simply copied them over and over)

    - a lot of different kinds of knowledge but it's all interconnected in some chaotic way (spaghetti between automation stations)

    - i start almost OCD structured, but as soon as I can smell my goal I throw all structure overboard while chasing the end. (my light oil pipes are a friggin mess, but yeah, rocket fuel!)

    Do you have the same?

    Wiki's claim about not needing to lane balance main bus seems wrong

    In the main bus tutorial, the wiki makes the following claim:

    Putting a lane-balancer after a split-off is not necessary most of the time as the rest moves on if the belt has no draw or if only one lane is used. If there is enough input for the item to saturate a whole belt then putting a lane-balancer in wont help to get more items later on.

    If I'm correctly understanding it, that's not true. Here's a counterexample (using Creative Mod):

    Example: misbalanced lanes can cause reduced throughput

    The two belts are initially both fully saturated by the matter sources. The first two matter voids consume the right lane only. (This could occur in a real base if the consumer needs half a belt of input and prioritizes the right lane.) The final matter void tries to consume the whole belt, but only half a belt is available.

    Here is the blueprint string for the example:

    2.7k Rocket fuel per minute

    Still working on my 2500ish SPM base, coming into the home stretch. Keeping up the spirit of my previous logistic science post, here is my blueprint for 2700ish rocket fuel per minute in my grid base.

    It isn't quite to a proper ratio, there are more petroleum gas to solid fuel than necessary and is short some light to solid fuel. This is because I have 24 refineries where it only needs about 17, but that doesn't fit with my theme. And the thing is massive. Could have probably compacted it somehow, but I really like it.

    I look in the settings there is no option to set a redo button.

    This would be very handy as I sometimes hit ctrl+z too many times, sometimes whatever it undid is not where I am working, good fun for future me to fix. I could get away with an option in the deconstruction planner to 'cancel deconstruction' most of the time. Both would actually be really amazing.

    I'm hoping that due to my ignorance there may be a mod or hidden commands someone knows about.
